"Versatility" is about the experience I had growing up in my mom's shop. The vibrant colors, textures, and patterns all symbolize being immersed in a space that had been fabricated and woven together by black men & women. This piece represents all the different personalities, unique styles and self expression expressed by those I was surrounded by in my youth and they aided in the formation of who I am today.
